Happy Friday!

No project to share with you today. I have one all photographed, but I don't think I will have time to upload it today, hopefully on Sunday. My daughter Brittany and I are off to my parents cabin in Balsam Lake, WI tonight for some fun girl time. Well, my Dad will be there too, but that's OK! All of the little towns around that area hold festivals throughout the summer. This weekend it is Amery's turn. They have a really fun parade and craft show! I'm looking forward to a little down time at the lake. It's been a stressful couple of weeks at my work. It's always so relaxing at the lake, I can't wait to get there tonight!


For a little information about me...I grew up vacationing at a resort on Balsam Lake throughout my childhood. We spent 2 weeks there every summer until I was 12, when the resort sold into condo's. We actually almost move there on the lake when I was in 3rd grade, but that fell through. My parents fulfilled a life long dream of having property on that lake 5 years ago. They purchased a former resort cabin (not the same resort we went to). It's very small, but since I'm an only child and I only have one child myself. We fit in just fine, as long as we keep things picked up!


Mike will not be going up with us this weekend as we were not able to find anyone to watch our dogs, Rocky & Ruby. So, Mike's staying home and golfing! I'm sure he's very upset! So, since I don't have a project to share, I thought I'd share a photo of our little Ruby. Brittany took this sometime in July. It just makes me smile. I hope it will make you smile too, she's a little sweetie! Have a wonderful weekend!
