Turtles!


Finally got around to downloading our turtle adventure photo's. As mentioned in the previous post, my parents have a cabin in Balsam Lake, WI. This is the first year that we've seen the snapping turtle hatching.


My daughter Brittany (9 years) had a blast!



Here is a photo of one (not the greatest photo!) next to my daughters hand for size comparison.

Enjoy your evening and I hope to be back with some cards this weekend for sure! I have a Stampin' Up! workshop on Saturday so will have some cards to post. This is the first workshop I've done in a very long time, so it should be fun!

this reminds me of when I lived in Florida. We actually had patrols on the beach for when the turtles came to lay their eggs. It was fun to watch them hatch later on

So cool. We were in Hilton Head this summer and they have a rule of no lights after 10 pm because of hatching turtles. Pretty cool. What a great experience for your kids.
